I'm at Hogwarts!

Now many of you know my extreme love for Harry Potter.... well as you can assume today really brought it out. I got to go see Platform 9 3/4!!!! And don't worry I of course go through, I am currently updating this blog from inside the Gryffindor common room as we speak....(I wish). But really we decided to venture to King's Cross Station today in order to buy our train tickets to Scotland for Valentine's weekend and made a quick stop at the platform. It was a dream come true, the only thing that would have made it better if Harry himself were there too.

Our adventure at Kings Cross was a complete blast! When we got there we decided we should grab a bite to eat and seeing as there were burger places around the choice was quite easy. When we went to get in line at Fine Burger Co. (pause for reaction) this nice British man says, "ladies did you not see the woman handing out 2 pound coupons?" And of course we hadn't seen her but we took his directions and went looking for her. After about 5 minutes of no luck we returned to the burger place feeling a bit foolish. But when he saw we didn't have coupons he stands up and says, "You didn't find her? No worries I'll go!" He jumps up takes off in a sprint toward where he pointed us earlier. He left his food, his bag and us looking completely stunned. When we finally saw him returning it was from the other direction that he had started in, meaning he ran the complete circle around and came back to us holding 3 coupons in his hand. We were of course completely grateful but still quite a bit shocked, we couldn't really start laughing as hard as we wanted to until he finished eating and left, wishing us a fantastic stay in London! That was one of the nicest guys I think I'll ever meet haha.

I don't have too much more to report quite yet. Today was just a whirlwind of a fantastic time. Tomorrow is Thursday which means my weekend has already started seeing as though I only have class Monday- Wednesday. So I will have much more to report soon.

Oh and to Emily and Teresa, don't be too jealous that I got through to Hogwarts. I'm sure you will too!!
